what they wore : osheaga

6 Aug

first, let me just say that Montreal has got to be the most incredible Canadian city to visit during the summer. so pretty. so much to do. and if you like music, you should definitely do Osheaga. since 2006, the annual 3-day festival has been showcasing big name acts and visual art for the approximately 100,000 hipsters that now show up every year.

when it came to 2012 style there were decidedly more dont’s that do’s, but it was hotter than hell – and Sunday’s storms really made things messy – so something had to give. between the floral headgear (should these really be worn on anyone but a 5 year old flower girl?) and questionable socks (the red ones are especially subtle), here is the best of what i spied on the stage and in the fields…

many thanks to LG for the loan of their badass Optimus LTE smartphone that allowed me to update my wall + tweet away all weekend long …tweets, retweets and more photos here.
